Institute Profile

The Institute of Development and Labour Law was established in 1996 through the merger of the Labour Law Unit and the Institute of Development Law.  The Institute plays a leading role in development and labour law teaching and research. It is involved with training courses in South Africa and other countries in Southern Africa.  It also regularly contributes to training programmes if other organisations and collaborates closely with other leading university centres and NGOs.
